Silverstar's Story-Beginnings

Isn't it funny? How I started this story at the end? Really, I never once, in my aeons
of life, thought I would be writing about how I destroyed my entire homeworld....
It's so strange here now. No sounds of life, no sounds of industry. Yes, even up here, in my
Conning Tower, I was able to hear the machines operating. Doing whatever it was they did on
a constant basis....
I never leave this tiny office. I have no need to leave. My only reason for going to the
place I called home is gone now...like the rest of them. I look up, watching the now empty
skies. Why do I watch? Because it is what I was programmed to do...Oddly enough, it was the
things I wasn't programmed for, that I really wanted to do...

Sorry about that, I was feeling unwell....I guess the unprogrammed things are what
keep us sane in the mundane-ness of our real lives here. On this planet of pure industry.
Well...it's definitely not that now.....
Outside, there is nothing but the burning skies, and blasted hulks that were once
a beautiful, thriving Mechtown....could it be, that just a week ago, I was forced to make the
decision to blow it all away, the destroy it all quickly, mercifully...just so they wouldn't
suffer a slow, lingering, painful death? I lost my son, my shining star...my baby, whom I had
carried within my body for three years...my sweet Blackhawk....
